This area is
distinguished by lots of lofty, leafy trees. A
couple of thatched huts scattered about contain
snakes in wire boxes and parrots perched in
cages. There is also another Railway Station and
one end of the Skyride.
Ubanga-Banga Bumper
Cars
A four minute bumper-car ride that is a classic
ride for young and old.
KUMBA
The largest and fastest traditional turquoise
steel roller coaster in the Southeast. After the
terror of an initial 135-foot drop, you will then
plunge from 110 feet into a diving loop and feel
a full 3 seconds of weightlessness, whilst
spiralling 360 degrees, before tearing through
one of the worlds largest, at 108 feet, vertical
loops. That's in addition to spirals, cobra
rolls, and a corkscrew ride in the dark. You
check out the look on your face on one of three
TV screens at the ride exit. A 3-minute ride with
a height restriction of 54". Go as soon as
the park opens to avoid the queues.
Congo River Rapids
Twelve people sit in an inner tube like raft and
go for a bumper car ride on a fast moving, white
water stream, through almost ¼ mile of rapids
and waterfalls, and even through a dark cave. The
ride takes about five minutes. Children under
38" may ride when accompanied by an adult.
Claw Island
Here you can view white Bengal tigers from
pleasant shady benches that overlook the island.
The tigers are most active early in the morning
or late afternoon.
PYTHON
Here you are hurled through a double spiralling
corkscrew and an intense 70-foot plunge at speeds
of 50 mph on a steel roller coaster. Ride
duration is only 70 seconds and a height
restriction of 48" applies.
