This is a
transportation and hospitality centre with a
station that serves as both the one and only
terminus for the monorail and one end of the
Skyride, which connects to the Congo.
Clydesdale Hamlet
The Clydesdale Horses are housed here in stables
and a corral and are frequently led out to pose
for photographs.
Akbar's Adventure
Tours
Handlebar, Akbar's wacky cousin greets guests at
the colourful entrance to Akbar's Adventure
Tours, a hysterical simulator adventure full of
special effects. Martin Short plays Akbar,
"the worlds greatest tour guide" as you
travel with him across the vast Egyptian
landscape, on a 5-minute tour with exotic
Egyptian music setting the tone.
Egypt
As
well as Montu, there are plenty of shops and a
tour through a replica of the tomb of King
Tutankhamen. You can also pick up the Trans-Veldt
Railroad.
MONTU
The Southeast's largest and fastest inverted
coaster where the track is above your head.
Experience the thrill of an inverse diving loop
and a 60-foot vertical loop while you endure
speeds of over 60-mph and a G-force of 3.85! Not
for the haint farted. This 3-minute thrill ride
has a minimum height restriction of 54".
King Tut's Tomb
You get to visit a replica of King Tut's burial
site as it was being excavated in the 1920's.
Kids can also do digging of their own.
