Made to look like a
small American town in the year 1900, there are
pretty lamp-posts, horse drawn trolleys and other
touches that make the street charming.
There are no major rides or attractions here but
you can sink your teeth into fresh baked cookies,
which Beth loved in Paris, hop aboard the train
or sit on the kerb to watch the parade go past.
The first thing you'll see is Cinderella's
Castle, a full 189 feet high, towering over the
Magic Kingdom Park. The scene is straight out of
a storybook and will leave a lasting impression
on the old memory box.
Walt Disney
World Railroad
The Magic Kingdom trains are real locomotives
that were built nearly 100 years ago. A full trip
takes about 20 minutes but you can get on or off
at any station, (at Main Street USA,
Frontierland, or Mickey's Toontown Fair). You get
a great view of the park, plus a chance to rest
your feet.
Main Street
Vehicles
A one-way ride down Main Street USA on a
horse-drawn trolley, old-fashioned car or an
antique fire engine that make trips up and down
the street throughout the day. You can climb
aboard any one of these vehicles in Town Square
or by Cinderella's Castle. Each trip is strictly
one-way and you'll be asked to get off at the
end.
Main Street
Cinema
Continuous films and cartoons include vintage
silent films like 'Steamboat Willie', 'Mickey's
Big Break' and the Great Train Robbery, or a star
studded film featuring animation and live action.
