Open daily from
9.30AM until midnight, you will find something
for everyone in its variety of spectacular shops
that include WORLD OF DISNEY, the largest Disney
character shop in the world. It's nearly the
length of a football pitch and has twelve huge
rooms based on Disney classics.
There is also TEAM MICKEY'S where you can buy
sports clothing with either the Team Mickey or
your favourite team logo on. Probably baseball,
basketball and American football teams. ART OF
DISNEY is a gallery of Disney animation, art and
collectibles or you could go Christmas shopping
any day of the year at THE CHRISTMAS CHALET,
where you can buy hand crafted ornaments and
Disney character decorations.
At the LEGO IMAGINATION CENTRE those bricks of
brilliance have been shaped into some magnificent
masterpieces such as "Brickley" a
50-foot Lego Sea Serpent in a Lego Lagoon. You
can even have a go yourself in the interactive
outdoor playground. At TOYS FANTASTIC you'll find
the newest playthings featuring Disney stars, Hot
Wheels, Action Toys and Barbie dolls. In SUMMER
SANDS they sell fun Florida gifts, jewelry, sun
care products, straw hats and bags. The CAPTAINS
TOWER sells unique Disney gifts and apparel, and
at 2R'S READING AND RITING you can buy anything
in print from bestsellers, story time favourites,
Disney books, music and videos, (PAL versions
only), stationery and cards.
To titillate your taste buds try the RAINFOREST
CAFÉ where lunch and dinner is served. It's a
wild place to eat and shop where nature surrounds
you and a volcano even erupts while you eat.
Thunder rumbles and lightning strikes as you
choose, between pasta, salads, speciality
sandwiches and adventurous deserts.
Alternativley McDONALD'S has an outlet there or
if you're feeling sweet try the GHIRARDELLI SODA
FOUNTAIN AND ICE CREAM SHOP where its sundaes
every day of the week.
If you're fed up with shopping and eating there's
still plenty to do. At CAP'N JACKS MARINA you can
rent a boat or book a fishing trip, at CRAFT
CORNER you can make a candle, and at SAND STREET
STATION there is a sandy playground, a train ride
and other children's fun.
