DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS BACKLOT TOUR

A 30-minute tour which culminates with a tram ride behind the scenes of a working motion picture and TV studio. You'll get a close look at the houses from some of your favourite shows, and even see the treehouse from 'George of the Jungle'
The tour features Catastrophe Canyon, where you experience nature's fury through the magic of special effects. You'll see, and feel, how Hollywood moviemakers re-create flash floods, fires, and even earthquakes during your ride through this cavernous outdoor set. Before that you are shown the tricks used when filming a battle scene at sea.

THE AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE SHOWCASE -
HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS MOVIE SET ADVENTURE

The backyard from the Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie has been recreated as a big playground. There are 30foot blades of grass, huge Lego toys, a giant ant and more. There are things to climb on, slide down and explore. Most kids enjoy getting wet under the leaky hose as water squirts from a different spot each time. There is a big map at the entrance USE IT.
The American Film Institute Showcase also features puppets, models and miniatures that play important roles in motion pictures. You can explore how the puppets replace the roles of the actor and stunt doubles in films like Nightmare before Christmas and how models create the illusions in Star Wars and Armageddon.

BACKSTAGE PASS TO 101 DALMATIONS

This spot-tacular journey behind the scenes of Disney's 101 Dalmatians has actual sets and costumes used in the film. Backstage pass teaches you lots of movie making tricks, you may even see live production shooting on the soundstage. The last part of the tour is all about Cruella de Vil with the props and costumes that help make her seem so evil.
