Eleven pavilions built around a lake called World Showcase Lagoon. If you make it all the way around the lake you will have walked more than a mile. World Showcase has something special to offer kids at Kidcot Fun Stops. There's one in each country where you get the chance to make crafts and learn how kids have fun in different countries all over the world.


CANADA

At the Canadian pavilion there's a Rocky Mountain, a stream, gardens and a totem pole. The highlight is a movie called O'Canada, a circle vision in 360 degrees showcases the nation's beauty.
NB, You stand up during the movie.


UNITED KINGDOM

Enjoy a pint at the Rose and Crown dining room. This pavilion gives a varied view of the United Kingdom from London to the English countryside.

FRANCE

'Impressions de France' features inspirational music and stunning panoramic views of France whilst sitting in relaxing comfort.
The Eiffel Tower is the best known landmark of the France pavilion but there are also treats in store at the bakery.

NB A nice place to take a break as it has comfy seats.


MOROCCO

The Morocco pavilion features beautiful mosaics made by real Moroccan artists. The buildings are copies of monuments in Moroccan cities such as Fez and Marakesh.
There are lots of shops selling baskets, jewelry, brasses and even a Fez hat. The Marakesh restaurant has a belly dancer who entertains in the courtyard.

JAPAN

The centrepiece of the Japan pavilion is the temple, or Pagoda, modelled after one in Nara, Japan. There is also a huge department store selling lots of souvenirs from Japan.

USA- THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE

The centrepiece of the World Showcase. Inside Independence Hall there is an Audio Animatronics show depicting American history. Hosted by Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, historic events are shown on movie screens.

ITALY

An imitation Venice, including a small version of the Campanile Tower. There are gondolas tied to the dock in the lagoon, tasty Italian chocolates and other goodies are for sale in the Candy shop.
The restaurant is called Alfredo's, found in St Mark's square, where you can watch fresh pasta being made.
GOOD DAY ' Buon Giorno.

GERMANY

Stroll through a Bavarian fairytale and stop for a refreshing drink at the Biergarten. Try to stop on the hour to see the special clock chime. In the centre is a beautiful statue on top of a waterfall and a cobblestone pavement.

CHINA

Disney's version of the Temple of Heaven is at the centre of this pavilion. It's a landmark in Beijing. Inside is housed Wonders of China-Land of beauty, land of time where you explore the mysterious East through a Circle vision 360-degree movie.
There are no seats in the theatre and the movie is a little long for kids.

NORWAY

The main building is a castle based on an ancient fortress in Oslo. Inside is Maelstrom where tricky trolls send you into a North Sea storm to explore Norway from the water in an adventure packed boat ride. The ride begins in a Viking village, next you travel through a forest where a three headed troll curses your boat and makes it go backwards. The ride is followed by a short theatre presentation.

MEXICO TIEMPO

El Rio del Tiempo- sail through the River of Time, a slow boat trip through scenes of Mexican life inside a pyramid shaped building. (May be closed for rehab).
At the end of the boat ride you can visit several shops with Mexican crafts, sombrero's and colourful blankets.

LORD OF THE DANCE At the American Gardens Stage

'The best of Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance' in a limited engagement. A delightful show of primal rhythms. Celtic merriment and phenomenal footwork is included with regular admission to Epcot between June 11th and September 26th.
Presented four times daily at the American Gardens Theatre, alongside World Showcase Lagoon.
